Rev. Frank Yates will give a lecture on the Political and Social Philosophy of Leo Tolstoy at the Albuquerque Oasis program (3301 Menaul #18, at the corner of Menaul and Carlisle) on Monday January 20th from 10:00-11:30am. For more information, look online at albuquerque.oasisnet.org.
This lecture will focus on Tolstoy’s analysis of the problems in Russia leading up to the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 as well as his views on non-violence.  We will consider his correspondence with Gandhi on the role of non-violence to promote social justice. All are welcome!
