Welcome to the Sunbonnet Shop at FPC
The Sunbonnet Shop at FPC has reopened! Please come and take a look today. Items from international artisans, chocolate from Equal Exchange and of course, the best ever cards and hand towels are available. Shop early for holidays and benefit local missions. While the Sunbonnet Shop is being “reimagined”, much gratitude goes to the many faithful people who sustained the shop throughout the years with their contributions of time and talent. Especially these last few years, we acknowledge the work of Deb Fisher-Rebstock and Bev Rowe whose commitment has moved us to this place of vision for the future.
Ten Thousand Villages
First Presbyterian Church’s Sunbonnet Shop is now home to a Ten Thousand Villages Shop—and this is more than a store! We're a global maker-to-market movement that breaks the cycle of generational poverty and ignites social change. We're a way for you to shop with intention for ethically-sourced wares — and to share in the joy of empowering makers in ten thousand villages.
As a pioneer of fair trade, we do business differently, putting people and planet first. That means you can trust that every handmade purchase and donation you make directly impact the life and community of its maker in a developing country.
We will be open for a special holiday grand opening Sunday, December 5th from noon until 2:00pm. You may also call the church office to make an appointment to shop (505-764-2900). Your purchase supports both Ten Thousand Villages and the Sunbonnet Shop’s mission partners of Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church.
